Dr. Parekh earned his college degree from Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, MD), and his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine (Philadelphia, PA). He was then awarded the Kennedy Fellowship to attend Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government (Cambridge, MA), where he earned a Master’s degree studying U.S. Health Policy, Economics, and Management.

Dr. Parekh completed his residency training at the Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute (Baltimore, MD). He then learned the intricacies of Refractive Surgery during his fellowship with Minnesota Eye Consultants (Minneapolis, MN), specializing in techniques like LASIK, PRK, ICL and lens exchange. After his training was complete, he spent several years in practice in Massachusetts, with offices in Boston and Cape Cod and clinical appointments at Harvard/Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary and Tufts/New England Eye Center. More recently, he has been in practice in Pennsylvania for the past four years and has performed thousands of surgical procedures.
